Nestled among the majestic Ozark Mountains near the Big Cedar Lodge, Payne’s Valley is the first public TGR Design golf course in the U.S. The course weaves alongside exposed rock outcroppings, epic mountain ridges, sweeping valleys, elegant streams and mature trees.
Tribute To Payne Stewart
Payne’s Valley is named in honour of the legendary Payne Stewart, who grew up in nearby Springfield. He tragically lost his life in 1999, when the Learjet he was traveling in crashed on the way to a tournament.
The Golfing Experience
The design of Payne’s Valley created a championship level as well as family friendly golf experience that allows individuals of all skill levels to come together to enjoy the game of golf in this unreal setting!
Wide fairways allow for more playability while the layout also allows a challenge for more experienced players. The layout promotes some shot creativity into greens while the fairway rough will be maintained to low heights to promote a more fun and enjoyable golfing experience.
